Affiliated groups are a source of strength for the Democratic Party. These groups provide ongoing and continuous outlets for activists and interested persons to remain involved in political activity all year round, not only at election time. Group activities may include but are not limited to; social events, educational programs, regular meetings, community outreach, and press conferences.

Democratic Alliance
Meets on 2nd Wednesday of each month.
Dinner at 6:00 PM, Meeting at 7 PM
The purpose of the Democratic Alliance is to advance the goals and purposes of the Democratic Party through social, civic and political activities. Our monthly meetings are an opportunity to meet with other Democrats and talk about upcoming events. In addition, we typically invite a speaker to each meeting to educate us about current issues and organizations.

Democrats for the Ozarks
Meets every third Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
Democrats for the Ozarks is geared towards college aged and young professionals (18-36) in Southwest Missouri. The goal is to engage members through social networking, issue awareness and community service. The group reaches out to all democrats and progressives by creating and hosting events intended to be entertaining and fun (in contrast to the sometimes stiff tone of politics). Franklin D. Roosevelt Women’s Democratic Club
Meets on 2nd Monday of each month
Dinner at 5:30 PM, Meeting at 6 PM
The FDR Women’s Club is the oldest continuing club in Greene County, beginning in 1933 after the election of Franklin D Roosevelt. The FDR Club is affiliated with the Missouri Federation of Women’s Democratic Clubs. They work to support candidates and further the role of Democratic women (and men) in government.

Senior Democrats of the Ozarks
Meets on 2nd Tuesday of each month
Senior Democrats of the Ozarks was founded in 2003, led by the late Rev. Nelson Parnell. The mission of the Senior Democrats is to further the basic philosophy of the Democratic Party, seek the restoration of sanity, compassion and intelligence in our political leadership, and to assist in the election of individuals who seek office to carry forward that philosophy. They also work for the passage or defeat of certain legislation and encourage discussion of issues of special concern for Seniors. Voting membership is open to anyone 50+.
