Harvest On Wheels
Did you know that one in seven Southwest Missourians struggles with food insecurity – and half of them are children and seniors? For these hungry neighbors, access to fresh fruits and vegetables is limited.
Do you have a garden? Are you willing to donate extra produce to help feed neighbors in need? Please take any food you can contribute to the nearest Harvest On Wheels neighborhood collection site, or visit our booth at the Greater Springfield Farmers’ Market at Battlefield Mall on Saturday mornings. Our volunteers will deliver your donations to Ozarks Food Harvest and other local hunger relief agencies. Non perishable food and personal care items are welcome, as well. Whatever you give will be greatly appreciated!
